Phosphating Plants

Phosphate coating are usually used to offer corrosion resistance, but, Phosphate coatings on their own will not offer this as the coating will be porous. So, oil or other sealers are used to get corrosion resistance. Manganese coatings are used to help break into components subject to wear and help prevent galling.
